PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS CAMP AT BEL PU COLLEGE ON 27TH SEPTEMBER 2017.

Pediatric Cancer Awareness Camp was conducted at BEL PU College, Jalahalli on 27th September 2017. Dr. Rashmi, Oncologist from HCG Unit of M.S.Ramaiah Hospital gave a power-point presentation. More than 200 students of the college and college staff was benefited. Lion Lakshmi Bhagwat was instrumental in organising the event. The club contributed Rs. 5,000/-

DIABETES AWARENESS WALKATHON ON 9TH SEPEMBER 2017.

A Diabetes Awareness walkathon was organised on 9th September 2017 at BEL Ground. Lion Lakshmi Bhagwat took the lead in making this event a grand success. The Club contributed Rs.5,000/- for this event.

Mega Health Check-up camp was conducted on 31st October 2017 at Issac Newton English School at Cottonpet, Bangalore. The camp was conducted in association with Narayana Netralaya and Sparsh Super-specialty Hospital ( Yeshwantpur ). Kudos to our member Lion P.Palani who had organised this event in his school. Lion Raju Chandrashekar initiated this camp and worked towards it's success. The camp was inaugurated by BJP M.P. Shri. P.C.Mohan. The general public thronged to take benefit of free screening. Activities included are Random Blood-sugar for Diabetics check-up , Eye-screening, Orthopedic check-up, Complete Heart-care including ECG, ECHO, and BP. More
than 1500 people including the students are benefited.

NATIONAL UNITY DAY WALKATHON 0N 31ST OCTOBER

The club participated in this event organised by Lions Club of Aditynagar. The walkathon started from G.P.O. and covered Vidhan Saudha, Highcourt, Cubbon Park, and was terminated at G.P.O. District Governor Lion H.K.Giridhar,mjf also participated.

VETERINARY CAMP

Veterinary Camp was conducted on 23rd October 2017 at Kannamangala Village, off BIAL Road. Lion Dr. Magroob Hussain screened 310 castles as per the Certificate. The club paid Rs.5,000/- for this Service Activity.

IMAGE BUILDING

The club donated Rs. 15,000/- , on 15th October 2017, to Para-Olympic Wheel-chair Tennis Player Shri. Shekar to participate in the event to be held in Malaysia. District Governor Lion H.K.Giridhar handed over the cheque of Rs. 35,000/- to him. Thanxs to Lion Lakshmi Bhagwat and Lion B.Guruprasad ,mjf for contributing Rs. 5,000/- each.
